……one of the things that can happen if you’re lucky is you’ll have to move between two locations and it’s not feasible to do that in a night after a shoot. This is what came about last January. We started in Stoke-on-Trent at the Kiplings and then had a day to get from Stoke to Dundee to visit the cotton processing factory at the start of the Barber jacket programme.

I decided to take the long way from Stoke to Dundee by carrying on North passed Glasgow and heading to Loch Lommond. The weather was by no means perfect but the drive, the scenery and the occasional blast of Sun made the Pre-Dawn start from Stoke worth it.
